LOGO

From our research findings, our team designed the user flow to illustrate the overall interaction that mentors will experience when they are authoring content for students, as well as wireframes to select the elements that would constitute our low-fidelity prototype. The low-fidelity prototype was then shared along with the final user flow with Smart Futures to assure the quality and alignment between the design and requirements. Feedback from the client and resulting changes were implemented and then our team conducted low-fidelity user testing. The team discussed the result of the testing and we decided which elements to modify based on the feedback received.

These same steps and processes were then followed for both our mid-fidelity prototype and mid-fidelity user testing. After the completion of the mid-fidelity testing, we made a final, thorough pass of the prototype along with our team mentor. Following this final pass and implementation of changes, we finalized our high-fidelity Figma prototype to deliver to Smart Futures as the basis for continued design and future development.

Dashboard

Below is the interaction of CareerConnect's dashboard. It is a landing page that mentors would first encounter when entering the web application. They will be able to navigate through learner analytics and recommended contents.

Content Builder

Below is the interaction of CareerConnect's content builder. It is a multiple-step interactive form that allow mentors to choose content type, format and templates, after which they will have the opportunity to construct video scripts with the built-in AI assistant.

Video Builder

Below is the interaction of CareerConnect's video builder. It is an online video editor in which mentors are able to record their work-based learning career video with camera and screen recording capabilities, while following the scripts prepared during content builder. After recording, mentors can also slightly edit the video and add interactive questions for students' feedback.
